Play Doh!

Richard came over for a bit today, it was a nice time :)  Natalie was having fun with her play doh in the kitchen when she asked us to come out and play too.  I thought I was pretty good at making everything Natalie requests.. but now after seeing what Richard can do... my play dog makin' days are over LOL.

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving this year was nice and relaxing. All the kids got to see eachother and got along for the most part. The food was delicious but then again that was expected :)  Enjoy the pictures.

Making The Best of a Rainy Day

So we had planned on going hiking but little to my knowledge it was going to rain.  As we made it up to Fountain Hills.. it started to spinkle.. no big deal a little rain wont hurt us.  Then it poured.  So there goes the hiking trip.  No worries, we still had a great time and saw interesting sights.

This horse is made out of really cool misc things.

The Fountain at Fountain Hills.

View of the fountain as we were walking to the picnic area to eat our lunch.

It was too windy and cold to sit outside and eat, so we moved to picnic to the car.

Other side of the road was closed for the Ironman Competition.

Princess Pony Party

The little one in purple is the Birthday Girl (Deanna)

Showing off her dance moves!

I dont know why she can never smile normal when  I want to get pictures together.

She had a blast riding on Cinderella.

Made With Love

Today Nat & I made cupcakes for Richard's birthday on the 21th.

She was such a great help mixing!

But even great helpers get thirsty from so much hard work  ;)

My official taste tester

Natalie picked out the mix, the icing AND the sprinkles. She picked the red ones all because the container had hearts on it.  These cupcakes truely were made with love :)

Happy Birthday Babe!!

GWAR

Ok so last night was my first time seeing GWAR... "interesting" does it no justice.  To my surprise it was alot of fun.  I wanted to take my camera in and get pictures of all the freaks for everyone but I had to leave my camera AND phone in the car just incase it got ruined.  Oh and by the way.. most of the men and women all looked the same... It was hard to tell what was what.  Enjoy the before and after pics.

On our way to the show

Alternative Cough Medicine

This stuff actually works!  If you have kids that either cant take most cough & cold medicines due to what its made of.. or if they are just too young for most cough medicines, think about trying this!  Its all natural and fantastic!!

My favorite (makeup) things

After using both Urban Decay eyeshadow Primer Potion (in sin) and  Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance, I found that Too  Faced works so much better and goes on smoother and doesnt leave a shine.

Primers Primers Primers!  Again Too Faced wins again. However in a pinch Loreal Studio Secrets does the job but doesnt last as long but it does leave your face super smooth.  And Sephora's brand of primer is nice too, but I find it to be a bit greasy.

And for the lips!  Ive been using Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket (in James) until a very good friend of mine told me about MAC Red.  Sorry naked emo guy on my lip gloss, I just traded you in for MAC Red.

For the face!  I started off using Plum Gorgeous by Clinque but I found O-Glow by Smashbox much more flattering.

Holy eyeshadow batman!  After a good run with "I like bold vibrant colors" it just got to be too much of a hassle doing my makeup everyday.  Once I was even insulted by an old man about how I look.. I think he thought I was a hooker.  So again I've traded all that in for the MAC eyeshadow shown on the right.

Make you eyes POP!  After using mascara from Clinique I found that less expensive mascara is easier to handle and less messy.  Now I only use the Falsies, it does its job without leaving black on my eyeshadow.

Found my foundation!  So no more using the messy messy Bare Minerals.. that rubbed off anyway..  I splurge a little and go with Clinique. It covers great and doesnt leave the cakey feel or look.  VERY light weight.

I've tried alot and I hope this will help any of you who are looking for durable long lasting makeup.
